MSYL 2012 SPRING REGISTRATIONS HAVE BEGUN!

Massac Youth Soccer League (MYSL) has begun its 2012 Spring Registration Drive.  Registration is for players ages 3 to 15  representing teams from Under-4 to Under-16.  MARCH 3rd is the FINAL day registrations will be accepted, so please registrer today!!!!!!!!!!

HS GIRLS PRE-SEASON CONDITIONING HAS BEGUN!

The HS Girls have begun pre-season soccer conditioning for the upcoming spring season.  All HS girls that are interested in the playing soccer are invited to attend.  For more information, go to the "Scholastic (Girls) Soccer" page by clicking on the selection in the left-hand menu.

USSF REFEREE TRAINING DATES ANNOUNCED

The Grade-8 USSF referee local certification and training dates have been announced.

The annual re-certification class for existing referees in Paducah is tentatively schedued as:   

                                                           January 21 or February 18

The certification class for NEW referees in Paducah is tentatively scheduled as:   

                                                                     March 17 & 18

You can pre-register for the class or obtain more information by going to the website: www.kyreferee.com

Please check frequently with the website as the date approaches to confirm date of training is still valid.

New referees must be able to attend both full days & pass the final exam with at least a score of 80%.

If enough Massac-based interest exists, the Boosters will conduct a pre-course study to help any that are interested in attending.  Contact Troy at caritroy@djklink.net if interested.

Are you interested in becoming a soccer referee?

Interested in getting a full understanding of the rules?  Interested in getting more involved with the game of soccer?  Interested in having fun (yes, being a referee is fun!) and having a rewarding experience?  Interested in making a few bucks on the side?  If so....soccer refereeing may be for you!

For anyone who may be interested in becoming a certified referee, the courses are typically conducted in Janauary-March locally each year.  Click on "Referee" on the side menu for more information and news concerning refereeing.
